Thank God there is a solid pho place near me. Been here a few times already and it never disappoints. Came here recently since I haven't been here in awhile, and of course it's crowded. Only had to wait a few minutes and was seated right away. Ordered the short rib rice plate because it's always my go to meal without much thought. Meat was very flavorful and hit the spot!

I was in town for a work training and ended up coming here for lunch with my coworkers. Actually, one of them recommended this spot as she had been there before. We arrived just before 12 and there were a few tables open. I ended up ordering the shaking cube beef with garlic rice. The dish came with pickled carrots and daikon, with a side of salt/pepper and lime. The beef was very tender and cooked well. I thought it was seasoned just right, even without the salt/pepper. The pickled carrots and daikon tasted crisp and fresh, cutting through the fattiness and oil of the dish. The dish came with a lot of rice and compliments the meat well. I do wish there was more of a garlic taste in the rice and that there was more beef, as the meat portion seemed smaller. Staff was very nice and prompt with service, even with 2 people coming in late. The restaurant is spacious and was getting packed towards the middle of our meal. I would come back to try other items, since my coworkers liked their dishes.

Was introduced to this place by an old Vietnamese coworker who told me that this was his dad's favorite place. Cheap pho and rice noodle plate dishes! Broth is always rich and tasty but also on the lighter side. Service is super fast and friendly and I've never had a bad meal here. I always get the pho special (#1) because I'm not picky and I like ALL of the meats that are normally offered for pho (tripe, tendon, ribeye, etc)

The Essential Ingredients Behind the Pho Craze

At the heart of every great pho is its broth—a rich, flavorful base that takes hours to prepare. The broth at 1502 Fitzgerald Dr is no exception. It’s made by slowly simmering beef bones (or chicken, depending on the variety) with a blend of spices, including star anise, cinnamon, cloves, and ginger. This process allows the flavors to meld together, creating a complex, aromatic base that forms the foundation of the dish.

But the broth is just the beginning. Each bowl of pho is a carefully composed dish, featuring a generous portion of rice noodles, thin slices of meat, and a selection of fresh herbs like basil, cilantro, and green onions. Lime wedges and bean sprouts are served on the side, allowing diners to customize their pho to their liking. The combination of these elements results in a dish that’s not only satisfying but also endlessly customizable, catering to a wide range of tastes and preferences.
